ABOUT US

Our focus is pelvic health, but we go far beyond that.

At Medusa, we honor the power of community. Our work isn’t just about individual healing; it’s about creating connections that sustain and uplift. Our approach is rooted in understanding that healing is both personal and collective, woven through the support and strength of those around us. We’re here to help you navigate life’s toughest moments with humor, grace, and a deep sense of possibility. We want you to feel seen, supported, and empowered—because transformation is better when it’s shared.

Owner, Occupational Therapist, Pelvic Health Specialist, Trauma-Informed Pelvic Health Practitioner

I’m Nadya, a homegrown New Mexican who has adventured across borders and seas, but Albuquerque is my forever home. As a mama who’s experienced pregnancy loss, preterm birth, high-risk pregnancy, and the messy, beautiful journey of motherhood, I know the strength it takes to heal, and how isolating it can feel at times.

I’ve been on the other side of the treatment table as a pelvic health therapy patient. My own healing process and the care I received lit a fire in me to specialize in women’s pelvic health, perinatal and postpartum care, and trauma-informed pelvic health. I wanted to be able to offer the same care and healing I experienced. I also sought out additional training in prenatal mental health care and sexual health counseling because I believe every part of us - mind, body, and spirit - deserves to heal together, through every phase of life.

I care deeply about supporting people through the complexities of sacred ending, and sacred reclaiming, especially in the areas of pregnancy loss/termination, and pre- and post-hysterectomy recovery. It’s not just about physical healing - it’s emotional, mental, and everything in between. I’m here for the long haul, to help you navigate it, not rush through it.

Molly Lukes, MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist, Pelvic Health Specialist

I’m Molly, and I love taking a big-picture approach to therapy. I believe in meeting people where they are and using what’s important to them to create treatment that feels real and relevant. My journey into pelvic health came through my own postpartum experience, which opened my eyes to the critical need for specialized care. That led me to focus on women’s health, and I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies in ways that reduce pain and improve their quality of life.

I’ve expanded my expertise to include men’s health and breast cancer recovery because I believe everyone deserves care that’s tailored to their needs. I work closely with my clients, listening to what they need and collaborating on the best path forward. I’m all about breaking down the stigma around pelvic health care, there’s no shame in seeking help, and I’m honored to be part of the healing process.

BEHIND THE NAME

Medusa, the Spanish word for jellyfish, symbolizes fluidity, resilience, and healing, qualities we embody in our approach to pelvic health and recovery. Just like jellyfish move gracefully through the water, we help people navigate the challenges of maternal health, pelvic recovery, and life transitions with strength and support. We focus on the delicate balance of vulnerability and empowerment, guiding individuals through physical, emotional, and mental shifts, and helping them reconnect with their bodies, find that healing, and embrace their full vitality.

Our focus is pelvic health, but we go far beyond that.
